...me, of course. I'm brilliant at it. Usually achieved through constantly worrying about something that hasn't happened, and probably never will.
However, I think I might've found my achilles heel, the thorn in my stress containers side. And here it is...
It is absolutely inconceivable to hold on to stress when I'm walking in nature. Within seconds of getting out into the fresh air, I'm breathing deeply and focusing my eyes on a distant viewpoint. I'm thinking about which route to take today, and which wildlife I might see along the way. I have a purpose, even if it's just for the next hour.
With the dogs by my side I have the perfect listening companions. Full of unconditional love and affection, they're such a joy to walk with. And they're great at keeping secrets.
So you see, it's impossible for me to feel stressed when I'm out walking, especially dog walking, which is my new love. That's why walking in nature is one of my top tips for this April's Stress Awareness Month.
